Booking confirmed

Your call with Ian is booked. Now tell him about your family.

A calendar invite is on its way to your inbox. The call runs 30 minutes. No hard sell. Just a direct conversation about whether Imperial can help.

What happens next

Three things.In order.

  1. 01

    Check your inbox

The invite lands within a few minutes. If you cannot see it, look in spam or promotions and mark it as safe so the reminders reach you.

  2. 02

    Accept the invite

Accepting holds the time and puts the call in your calendar. The meeting link sits inside the invite, so you do not need to keep this page.

  3. 03

    Talk to Ian

Thirty minutes, straight to the point. Ian runs the call himself. If Imperial can help he will explain how. If it is not the right fit he will tell you.

Before the call

Come with three answers. That is all Ian needs.

You do not need to prepare anything or bring documents. The calls that go best simply start with these.

  • How your family lives now, and what is not working about it.
  • Where you want to be, and what matters enough that you will not compromise on it.
  • Where your search is up to, and roughly what your budget looks like.

If you are early and just looking, say so on the call. Ian would rather tell you to wait than push you towards a home you are not ready for.

Who you're speaking with

You deal with Ian.Not a team.

Ian Chan

Ian spent over 14 years in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, across the table from people making high stakes decisions. He learned early that trust is not given. It is earned through preparation, follow through, and never overpromising.

He has bought development properties himself and completed a development of his own, and he has built relationships across Brisbane's agent and developer network from the ground up. He has been on both sides of these transactions.

He works through the search with you personally rather than handing your brief to an acquisition team.

Client experiences

What it's like to haveIan on your side.

Ian sees things other people miss. He picks up on details that matter; the ones that can change the outcome of a negotiation or save you from a decision you'd regret. I've never once had to wonder whether something had been overlooked.
Vanessa W.Buyer
Ian is one of those rare people who makes you feel like you're his only client. He's straight with you, follows through on everything, and never makes you feel like you're being managed. You always know exactly where you stand.
Kellie R.Property Owner
Ian will not overpromise. Ian's word, is Ian's word. If there are foreseeable hurdles, it will be communicated alongside a solution to move forward. There is comfort if Ian is on the task.

FAQs

Answers to common questions

What actually happens on the call?

Ian asks about your family, where you want to live and where the search currently stands. If Imperial can help, he will explain how. If it is not the right fit, he will tell you that instead.

Is there any cost or obligation?

The call is complimentary and there is no obligation. No hard sell. Deciding it is not for you is a perfectly normal outcome.

Do we need to be ready to buy right now?

No. Plenty of families speak with Ian months before they buy. Knowing what good looks like, and being ready to move when the right home appears, is most of the advantage.

Do we need our finance sorted first?

Not for this call. A rough sense of your budget is enough to have a useful conversation. Ian will not ask you for documents.

Will we deal directly with Ian?

Yes. Ian works through the search with you personally rather than handing your brief to a large acquisition team.

How do we reschedule or cancel?

Use the reschedule and cancel links in your confirmation email. They work right up until the call starts. If something comes up, moving the time is far better than not showing.

The invite has not arrived. What now?

Check spam and promotions first, and search your inbox for "Imperial". If it is still missing, reply to any email you have from Ian and he will send it again.
